BTS Sets Another Record: "ARIRANG" Album Earns Platinum Status in France After Selling Over 100,000 Units
BTS's latest album, ARIRANG, has been certified "Platinum" in France by the National Syndicate of Phonographic Publishing, as announced by their agency on Tuesday.
The group's fifth studio album achieved this certification after surpassing 100,000 units in total sales across physical copies, downloads, and streaming, according to BigHit Music.
This milestone comes just a month after BTS received "Gold" certification in France for the same album, which happened only six days following its release in March.

With this recent certification, BTS now has a total of four albums certified Platinum in France.
Additionally, in Japan, "ARIRANG" has garnered "Triple Platinum" certification after selling over 750,000 units as of March.
"ARIRANG" also made history as the first K-pop artist's album to top the Billboard 200 chart for three consecutive weeks.
This 14-track album is led by the title track "Swim" and marks the group's comeback after a four-year hiatus due to mandatory military service from its members.
