LISA Set to Perform at FIFA World Cup 2026 Opening Ceremony in Los Angeles, Becoming the Second K-Pop Artist After Jungkook
Lisa of BLACKPINK is set to perform at the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup 2026, which will be held across North America, alongside a lineup of global artists.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup will feature opening ceremonies in three different host cities. Lisa is scheduled to perform at the opening ceremony in Los Angeles on June 12, joining renowned artists including Katy Perry, Future, Anitta, Rema, and Tyla.

Meanwhile, the opening ceremony in Mexico City will take place on June 11, featuring performers such as Alejandro Fernández, Belinda, Danny Ocean, J Balvin, Lila Downs, Los Ángeles Azules, Maná, and Tyla.
As for the opening ceremony in Toronto, which will also be held on June 12, artists including Alanis Morissette, Alessia Cara, Elyanna, Jessie Reyez, Michael Bublé, Nora Fatehi, Sanjoy, Vegedream, and William Prince are set to appear.
With this performance, Lisa will become the second K-Pop artist to perform at a FIFA World Cup opening ceremony, following Jungkook of BTS, who captivated audiences at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 opening ceremony with the song Dreamers.
