RIIZE's Shotaro Suffers Torn Ankle Ligament Injury During Overseas Performance, Continues Activities with Limited Participation
SM Entertainment has released a statement updating fans on the injury status of Shotaro, a member of RIIZE, confirming that he will still participate in scheduled events, albeit in a limited capacity.
According to the agency, Shotaro sustained an ankle injury while performing at an overseas event. He subsequently underwent a thorough examination at the hospital and was diagnosed with a torn ankle ligament.
He is currently in recovery, wearing a semi-cast and continuing outpatient treatment.

Despite his injury, Shotaro is scheduled to participate in several upcoming events, including the Incheon National University festival on May 8, the Japan Kstyle Party on May 10, and festivals at Sogang University and Soongsil University on May 14.
However, he will not take part in any dance performances or stage activities that require heavy exertion.
SM Entertainment stated that the decision was made after discussions with Shotaro and in reference to medical advice, which indicated that he could resume daily activities but should avoid intense dancing and prioritize his recovery.
The agency also expressed their full support for Shotaro's swift recovery and asked fans for their understanding regarding the situation.
