BTS's 'ARIRANG' World Tour Concert in Busan Sells Out as They Prepare to Return to the Stage After 4 Years
BTS generates another strong wave of excitement as tickets for their concert in Busan during the 'ARIRANG' world tour sell out for both performance dates.
BTS is set to perform at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium on June 12 and 13. Their agency, BigHit Music, announced on April 30 KST that tickets for both days were sold out during the official fan pre-sale via the NOL Ticketing system.
This concert marks BTS's return to this stadium after approximately 3 years and 8 months, following their 'Yet to Come in Busan' concert in October 2022, which was held to support Busan's bid to host the World Expo 2030.
This comeback is particularly meaningful, as it allows them to reconnect with fans in the same venue where they performed prior to members enlisting for military service. Additionally, June 13 falls on the group's debut anniversary.
To celebrate their concert in Busan, BTS is planning a project titled 'BTS THE CITY ARIRANG' across the city from June 5 to 21. The initiative aims to transform Busan into a major cultural hub by integrating BTS's music and stories with various locations throughout the city, providing fans with a unique experience.
Previously, BTS held performances at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on April 25, 26, and 28, attracting over 190,000 attendees.
The world tour will continue in El Paso, Texas, on May 2 and 3, where local officials have declared the occasion as "El Paso BTS Weekend" and will honor BTS with the "Estimado Amigo" award for their cultural impact.
The concert is estimated to have an economic impact of up to 110.5 billion won, approximately 74 million USD, clearly reflecting the global influence of BTS.
