After a year away, HIGHLIGHT (Yoon Dujun, Yang Yoseop, Lee Gikwang, and Son Dongwoon) transformed an ordinary Saturday for Thai LIGHTs into something special at ‘HIGHLIGHT LIVE 2025 [RIDE OR DIE] IN BANGKOK’, held on September 20 at Chaengwattana Hall, Central Chaengwattana.

It seemed that the weather was on our side! After facing days of storms, as soon as the HIGHLIGHT members touched down in Thailand, the skies cleared to welcome them, filled with the passionate energy of Thai "LIGHTs." From the very first moment of ‘HIGHLIGHT LIVE 2025 [RIDE OR DIE] IN BANGKOK,’ the thunderous cheers from the fans filled the hall, proving Gikwang right when he said last year’s concert in Thailand was among the top three most enjoyable experiences of his life. He expressed his excitement for this latest concert.

HIGHLIGHT kicked off the show with their explosive song "Chains," featuring impressive Break Dance moves! They kept the fun going with "Switch On," "Stay," "Shadow," and "Sad Movie," leaving the audience in awe from the start. It was immediately clear that this concert was nothing short of spectacular—with CG production, lighting, and sound provided by O.N Worldwide, bringing 99.99% of the Korean show experience to Thailand.

Even with just 10% of the energy they had built up over the past year, the HIGHLIGHT members left Thai LIGHTs breathless. They took a moment to greet the fans, saying, "Hello, we are HIGHLIGHT!" while sweetly expressing how much they missed their Thai LIGHTs. They then proceeded to deliver more upbeat tracks like "We Up" and "Dance With U" before pausing again for a heartfelt update on their lives, showcasing how much their Thai language skills have improved since their last visit.

As the excitement rose another 1%, they jumped into "HANDS UP" and "Kimiwadou?," a Japanese single that had fans singing along flawlessly. This was followed by the fun song "CEREBRATE," before transitioning into slower heartfelt melodies with "Dream Girl" and "Though I Call Your Name," a nostalgic track they had first performed at their debut concert.

As they continued with the emotional slow songs, the HIGHLIGHT members invited Thai LIGHTs to light up their phones, enhancing the joyful atmosphere. They went all out with a setlist featuring "Endless Ending," "On Rainy Days," "12:30," alongside standout performances of "Drive" and "Good Day to You." The backdrop for “Good Day to You” was particularly special, showcasing Wat Arun and the beautiful cityscape of Bangkok, perfectly matching the song's warm vibe.

During a chat with the audience, aside from admiring the stunning Wat Arun, the members hailed Thai LIGHTs as a true treasure of Bangkok, often repeating throughout the concert how amazing the Thai fans are! They also reminisced about their favorite Thai dishes, including "Khao Kha Moo" (pork leg rice) and "Tom Yum Goong," with Dongwoon vowing to cook for Yoseop for the first time!

The next stage brought even more joy to Thai LIGHTs with HIGHLIGHT’s anthem from this concert, "Fiction," performed in full. Fans eagerly sang along to the rap in "Shock," chanting "Every day I shock (shock) Every night I shock (shock)," making an overwhelming impression on the four members, who couldn’t help but beam with joy.

“Thai LIGHTs are incredible!” was another compliment they showered on their fans. The synchronized chants from the audience resonated as one with their singing, leaving a lasting impression on the members. It was a wonderfully fun shared experience that made them eager to return to Thailand again. As they wrapped up the concert, they said goodbye in Thai, expressing, “I definitely miss everyone,” “See you again, take care on your way home,” “I’m so happy, awesome, I love you,” and made it clear they wish to perform at a festival for Thai fans at least once in their lifetime!

At this moment, the happiness of Thai LIGHTs soared to 100%, feeling completely fulfilled by the music, performances, and the charm of the four members who consistently give their hearts to their fans. Thai LIGHTs also didn’t miss the opportunity to present a special VTR sharing their love for HIGHLIGHT and BEAST, while raising a heartfelt sign that read, “As long as HIGHLIGHT exists, I will be your LIGHT forever.”

Having reached peak happiness, it could still grow! Even as they said their goodbyes, an encore set awaited. The HIGHLIGHT members transformed the concert stage into a small party, energizing fans to join with full enthusiasm through songs like "BODY," "Feel Your Love," "Plz Don't Be Sad," "Don't Leave," "In My Head," "Follow Me," "Encore," "Freeze," and "Follow Me" again, closing out an unforgettable concert that made everyone forget it was drawing to a close. It was a delightful three-hour experience filled with joy and happiness, a true testament that whether known as HIGHLIGHT or BEAST, they continue to shine brightly for their LIGHTs.
