Global New Age music legend Kitaro to return for live performances in Thailand! Announcing the concert “THE BEST OF KITARO WORLD TOUR IN BANGKOK 2025.”

Thai music fans are in for a magical night that they won't want to miss withKitaro, a legendary Japanese artist who is a pioneer in Instrumental and New Age music. A recipient of multiple Grammy Awards and a Golden Globe Award, Kitaro initially drew inspiration from American rock and R&B. He embarked on his solo career in 1978 with the album Astral Voyage and gained international recognition for his music featured in the 1980 NHK documentary The Silk Road. In 1987, he collaborated with Mickey Hart of the Grateful Dead on the Grammy-nominated album The Light of the Spirit, further solidifying his global artist status. In 2023, he held a concert celebrating the 35th anniversary of Daishizan Seidaiji temple, in front of the Great Buddha statue Eji Zen, Japan's tallest seated Buddha. This concert was recorded for his latest album Zen: Live in Katsuyama.

With his music rich in messages of peace and unity, Kitaro is set to return to Thailand for an immersive musical experience after an 8-year absence, featuring a full concert titled "THE BEST OF KITARO WORLD TOUR IN BANGKOK 2025." The event, organized in collaboration with FriedRice Entertainment, BNJ Entertainment, Shaw Brothers Live Entertainment, and JP Entertainment, will take place on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 8:00 PM at UOB LIVE (6th Floor, EMSPHERE Shopping Center, Bangkok).

This performance is part of a special world tour that will take audiences on a journey through Kitaro’s timeless classics spanning decades, including Silk Road, Heaven and Earth, Matsuri, Caravansary, and many more. Attendees can expect a stunning showcase featuring his unique artistry with a combination of captivating visuals, lights, sounds, and distinctive instruments. Kitaro is known for bridging Eastern and Western worlds through his serene, beautiful music that resonates with the spirit, inspiring fans across the globe for many years.
