Hyoyeon’s Past Comments Resurface After Sooyoung and Jung Kyung Ho Confirm Breakup
Following the reported breakup of Sooyoung and Jung Kyung Ho, comments previously made by fellow Girls' Generation member Hyoyeon have resurfaced online and attracted renewed attention.
On June 9, representatives for both Sooyoung and Jung Kyung Ho confirmed that the couple had ended their romantic relationship and decided to remain supportive colleagues. The announcement marked the end of one of the entertainment industry's most well-known long-term relationships, which lasted approximately 14 years.
As fans processed the news, many revisited an episode of the tvN variety show You Quiz on the Block that aired last month. During the episode, Hyoyeon appeared alongside fellow Girls’ Generation members Yuri and Sooyoung to discuss topics such as marriage and family plans.
At the time, Hyoyeon mentioned Tiffany Young and jokingly suggested that someone in the group needed to “open the door” first when it came to marriage. She also shared that she still hopes to have children and dreams of having a large family someday.
