MC Mong Announces Explosive Live Broadcast, Claims Celebrities Linked to Illegal Gambling Scandal
MC Mong has sparked major attention after announcing an emergency live broadcast where he claims he will expose “everything” surrounding the controversies tied to him, including alleged entertainment industry scandals, illegal gambling connections, and even conflicts involving celebrities.
On May 18, MC Mong revealed through his social media and TikTok accounts that he would hold a live broadcast at 8 p.m. KST. According to the singer, he plans to openly discuss “all incidents and matters related to me.”
The situation escalated quickly after MC Mong accused PD Notebook of allegedly colluding with certain individuals during its investigation process. He claimed he intends to reveal behind-the-scenes details about how the investigative program handled its reporting.
MC Mong also made explosive allegations involving illegal “Baduk-i” gambling rings reportedly worth tens of billions of won. He claimed construction industry figures, company executives, and celebrities connected to those gambling groups would be exposed during the broadcast.
In his statements, MC Mong directly mentioned businessman Cha Jun Young and several unnamed chairmen and CEOs, further fueling speculation online about who may be implicated in the controversy.

Adding even more tension, MC Mong separately named Kim Min Jong in another social media post, accusing certain individuals and entertainment companies of attempting to “destroy” him.
The controversy arrives amid continuing disputes surrounding entertainment company One Hundred, which MC Mong co-founded in 2023 alongside chairman Cha Ga Won before stepping down in July last year.
Since then, the company has faced multiple allegations involving artist settlement disputes, internal conflicts, and financial issues. Several artists, including Lee Seung Gi, Lee Mu Jin, VIVIZ, and EXO-CBX, have reportedly been connected to settlement-related controversies. Members of THE BOYZ were also previously reported to have filed complaints over alleged financial management issues.
Attention has additionally focused on a luxury building in Seoul’s Sinsa-dong area that was initially rumored to be tied to MC Mong. However, company representatives later clarified that the property belongs to a corporation owned by chairman Cha Ga Won and is not directly connected to the singer himself.
With multiple rumors, allegations, and entertainment industry conflicts now intertwined, public attention is heavily focused on MC Mong’s upcoming live broadcast and what exactly he plans to reveal.
Many netizens are already speculating that if specific celebrity names or evidence emerge during the livestream, the controversy could become one of the entertainment industry’s biggest scandals of the year.
