Super Junior’s SHINDONG Shocks Fans with Dramatic Weight Loss at ‘Michael’ VIP Premiere

Super Junior member Shindong is gaining attention online after showing off a dramatically slimmer appearance at a recent public event.

On May 11, Shindong attended the VIP premiere of Michael at Megabox COEX in Seoul alongside fellow Super Junior members Eunhyuk and Leeteuk.

Appearing in a black suit with stylish wavy hair, Shindong drew attention with his noticeably reduced weight and sharper jawline. Fans especially pointed out how much slimmer he looked compared to the past.

Many were surprised that Shindong now appeared to have a similar build to Eunhyuk and Leeteuk, who are known as some of the slimmer members of the group, highlighting the success of his recent weight-loss journey.

Previously, Shindong revealed on the KBS2 variety show Problem Child in House that he had a huge appetite and spent approximately 14.49 million won per year on food delivery orders — and that amount only reflected one of the three delivery apps he used.

He also shared his experience using the weight-loss medication Wegovy, explaining that even after reaching the 1.7 dosage stage, he did not experience significant changes because he could still eat large amounts of food. According to Shindong, his doctor jokingly told him, “You defeated Wegovy.”

Since early 2026, Shindong has continued to share updates on his diet progress, and his latest appearance has become a hot topic among fans and online communities.
